It’s always well worth preloading a tablet with child-friendly TV shows and movies. That are guaranteed to keep your kids entertained if they are unexpectedly required to wait for a long period of time. For example, if there are no entertainment stations on a cheap flight or you have a long train ride ahead of you, having a tablet with pre-loaded TV shows and movies for your kids will be a lifesaver. Just be sure to pack a few pairs of headphones to ensure that your kids won’t bother other travelers.

If you usually stay in hotels or resorts on your family vacations, it’s a great idea to book family-friendly suites that offer multiple bedrooms.
